06. Dehra Dun (The Beatles - Friar Park Jam Reunion)

06. Dehra Dun (The Beatles - Friar Park Jam Reunion)

Friar Park Studios, Henley-on-Thames, 23rd June 1994. The three remaining Beatles, Paul McCartney, George Harrsion and Ringo Starr, performed many old classic songs during their second reunion after The Beatles break-up on April 1970; George and Paul played acoustic guitars, while Ringo played drums. That afternoon, they moved outside George's studios and performed other songs on ukulele, played by Harrison. This reunion was recorded during the recording sessions for the "Anthology" project and was included on a bootleg called "Meet The Threetles!". Two songs played on this day is memorable: "Raunchy" was played by George Harrison for his audition for the Quarrymen in 1958 and "Thinking Of Linking" (written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney) was played live between 1960 and 1962.
