The Deadly Sisterhood: Amber

The Deadly Sisterhood: Amber

I'd only seen her for a split second. I had one sharp glimpse of her face which made the horror to tragic. She had long butterscotch wavy hair that cascaded down her back. Her pale skin and empty, cold eyes as gray as craggy mountains. But what made this a crazy tragic horrific day was that the new kid; looked just like my sister... The one that died in a car accident; 2 years ago... Quietly, I followed her that afternoon to her locker, staying unseen. I casually walked over to my own. Only about ten lockers apart from hers. Fiddling with my lock, I watched from the corner of my eye. This was impossible! It had to be some kind of mistake! Maybe it was just someone who resembled her, I mean, how could I see someone who's dead? No one can storm the gates of death! NO ONE! So then why is she here? NO! That isn't my sister! Amber is dead. Amber is DEAD! MY SISTER IS DEAD!!! All of a sudden, I realized she was returning my now bug-eyed stare. Immediately I forced my eyes away. I ! then heard a clutter of things hit the floor. I snapped my head around to see that the girl; was gone. I hurried over to her locker, which, for a matter of fact, was hanging open. And instantaneously slammed it shut and fell backwards. Momentarily, I was as frozen as my own heart beat. Because what I had seen was the black 'bench' coat that I had given to my sis on her birthday; the night she died. My forehead started to bead with sweat. My chest heaving with the oxygen I was forcing down my lungs ...
